In Conversation with Deborah Challinor
Praised for her ability to challenge readers’ romantic views of days past, best-selling author Deborah Challinor will talk about how books move from concept to publication and what it's like working at the intersection of fact and fiction.
Challinor's most recent work The Jacaranda House tells the story of Polly an exotic dancer in 1960s Sydney. Previous works have explored New Zealand in the 1800s and 1950s Auckland. She loves researching historic eras and telling their stories in a way that brings them to life for her readers.
