IP Address
An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the World Wide Web. Web servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address. We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration, to report aggregate information to our institutional customers, and to audit the use of our site. When visitors request pages from Puke Ariki, our servers log the visitors' IP addresses. Accessibility

W3C web standards

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) develops protocols, guidelines and standards that ensure long-term growth and access to the web for all members of society.  The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) ensure web content is accessible to people with disabilities. Websites are tested against criteria set at three levels - A, AA, and AAA.

The Puke Ariki website is designed to meet a minimum of level A and level AA where possible
