NPDC has reviewed Puke Ariki operations following the Government’s announcement on the COVID-19 alert level, all Puke Ariki and Community Library facilities are to close until further notice.

This includes:
- Puke Ariki Museum
- Puke Ariki Library
- Taranaki Research Centre
- Puke Ariki Store
- New Plymouth i-SITE
- Inglewood Library and Service Centre
- Bell Block Library and Service Centre
- Waitara Library and Service Centre
- Ōākura Library
- Urenui Library
- Mobile Library

We’re sorry for the inconvenience but we know our customers will understand this is an unprecedented situation and safety comes first.

During this time, we invite you to experience Puke Ariki from home and discover our digital library collections and the museum’s online resources.
