Come on a reading adventure through Te Waonui o Tane this summer! As you ascend through each layer of the forest, you will meet one of the unique creatures that make their home here.
To check off each level of your journey, come and speak to a librarian about a book you have read, and receive a sticker of your new forest friend.
Puke Ariki is giving away weekly prizes during our summer reading programme “Te Waonui a Tāne – The forest of Tāne” where we're encouraging kids to keep up their reading over the school holidays.
Registered children will receive a Summer Reading Booklet to help them check in each week at their local library and track their summer reading progress.
Prizes up for grabs include vouchers for local book shops and some surprise Grand Prizes that will be handed out at the end of the promotion period.
