Get reading this Summer with our popular Summer Reading Programme!

Pick up an activity booklet from your local library or download a copy and print it out at home. 

Read three books with a similar theme, then complete 2 or 3 of the activities and bring your filled in booklets back to the library to go in our draw for a chance to win a prize!

The Summer Reading Programme is open for tamariki aged 6-12.

The Prize draw will take place during the first week in February and winners will be contacted by 10 February 2026.

Have fun, read some cool books, and get some good suggestions from your librarians about what to read next!
