The Whakapapa Moana Mystery

Something mysterious has happened in one of the underwater scenes in the museum… and we need your help to solve it! Step into the role of a kaitiaki detective and use your eyes, ears, and imagination to uncover what’s really going on beneath the waves.

Along the way, you’ll untangle the web of relationships between sea creatures and discover how everything in the moana is connected through whakapapa.

A bilingual creative storytelling activity for tamariki aged 4+, delivered in English and/or te reo Māori.

Ages 4+. All children must be accompanied by an adult. No booking is required, but spaces are limited so we suggest arriving early to avoid a wait. All materials provided.
