About our Guided Research Lessons

The Taranaki Research Centre staff will show senior secondary students how to access research material for NCEA Level 1-3, and provide opportunities for them to research their own key questions.

Taranaki Wars

Plan a visit to the Taranaki Research Centre | Te Pua Wānanga o Taranaki to explore our collections and learn more about the Taranaki Wars. Students will learn how to access research material to answer their focus questions for achievement standards, and add authentic material to their referencing.

This lesson can be paired with Walk in the Footsteps a half-day outdoor field trip visiting significant Taranaki Wars sites.
