Puanga & Matariki: A Living Experience
Step into the living world of Puanga and Matariki through an interactive, student-led experience. Senior wharekura students from Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Pi’ipi’inga Kākano Mai i Rangiātea invite you to explore the ways Puanga and Matariki are understood and experienced through a Māori worldview. Drawing on their own experiences, tauira will guide visitors through small-group, hands-on activities and storytelling that reflect remembrance, celebration, connection to the taiao, and aspirations for the year ahead. Led by tauira 11-13 Rangiātea students and facilitated by kaiako Niki & Te Ata Chapman.
