Next Wednesday and Thursday (8th -9th Sept), digital screens will be installed in libraries at Waitara, Inglewood, Opunake, Eltham and the Percy Thomson Gallery in Stratford. They will display images from the Swainson/Woods Collection.

At 2pm this Sunday, renown Taranaki artist Michael Smither co-hosts a talk, ‘The Boon of Friendship’, with exhibiting artist John McLean. Together the two with local architect and art enthusiast, Terry Boon, discuss how being an artist effects your life; and how finding companionship in fellow artists is essential. This will be held in the Main Exhibition Gallery, Puke Ariki North Wing.

This Wednesday (22 September) at 6pm, come hear staff from the Alexander Turnbull Library talk on the special and unique items in their collection that have a Taranaki focus. Speakers are Sean McMahon, Acting Manuscripts Curator, and David Reeves, Associate Chief Librarian. The talk will be held in Level 2 Space, Puke Ariki North Wing.
