  • Free access to a range of online databases including readers advisory, a NZ periodical index, community grant details, career information, genealogy and newspapers at the Taranaki Research Centre
  • A range of car repair manuals
  • A whole floor dedicated to children and young people
  • Interloan service - this allows access to books and articles from other libraries in New Zealand not held at Puke Ariki
  • Tutorials on using the library catalogue and using the Internet
  • Free Internet access via the Aotearoa People's Network Kaharoa
  • Black and white and colour photocopiers

  • Migrant Women Meet - This regular event invites migrant women in the Taranaki region to come and connect over a cup of tea. It happens every Tuesday from 11am-12.30pm in the Library's Community Lounge.
