Taranaki Research Centre/Te Pua Wānanga o Taranaki at Puke Ariki is an adult research facility offering research sessions specifically for secondary students. The content and concepts MAY be suitable for small extension groups at Intermediate level.

NCEA students should come prepared with focus questions relevant to their achievement standard(s) to gain the most from the session.

Our specialist researchers lead students through a series of activities including the effective use of research tools, databases and catalogues. Students can then access our archives, the social history collection, images, books and extensive research collections to assist their learning.
