welcome to education
Our Education Team are excited to present the 2019 Puke Ariki Museum and Aotea Utanganui Museum of South Taranaki education programmes.

Our education programmes are designed to give children experiences they can not have within their school environment. We hope that visiting our museums will open doors of understanding and encourage young minds to question and inquire.

At Puke Ariki we are offering three new programmes and have updated others.

Aotea Utanganui - The Museum of South Taranaki has three topics available for all year groups.

Taranaki Research Centre | Te Pua Wānanga o Taranaki is the gateway for students to learn more about the history of our province. Students will have the opportunity to meet with specialist researchers and curators in the Heritage team at Puke Ariki.

Our teams provide a hands-on, interactive experience that cater for multiple learning styles, ensuring the best possible learning outcomes for students. All topics link directly to the New Zealand Curriculum.

To book a topic, click the YES! button on each page to complete the process online, or call the Puke Ariki Education Team on (06) 7596710.
