Lane and Wall
It has been over 200 years since the birth of Charles Dickens but he remains one of the most recognised and loved names in literature. Now his visions have come to life. Haunts of Dickens features a series of stunning watercolours by British artist Paul Braddon (1864-1937) which depict scenes from Charles Dickens’ novels including The Pickwick Papers, The Old Curiosity Shop, David Copperfield, Great Expectations as well as the unfinished Edwin Drood. Braddon’s work is also held in the collections of the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Shrewsbury Museum, and Edinburgh Museum and Art Gallery.
Haunts of Dickens is a touring exhibition from Dunedin Public Art Gallery.
