Swainson’s Studios and Bernard Woods Studio took photographs of Taranaki people. Individually these images capture 110,000 unique moments in time. Collectively they offer a snapshot of Taranaki life spanning eight decades.

Haunts of Dickens features a series of watercolours by British artist Paul Braddon (1864-1937) depicting scenes from Charles Dickens’ novels including The Pickwick Papers, The Old Curiosity Shop, David Copperfield, Great Expectations as well as the unfinished Edwin Drood.
